Some of the U-Flyte team members went to visit a primary school as part of SFI Science Week to introduce the children to drones and their applications in the wider world.
Members of the U-Flyte team presented at the INFOMAR Seminar 2018 in Kinsale on November 9th on "Recent developments in Autonomous Drones: Sensor Technologies, Operations & Applications".
U-Flyte had a stand at the Atlantic Ireland conference on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st October. Lots of interesting discussions about applications of drones to marine observations and monitoring!
U-Flyte is now a member of the EU Network for U-Space Demonstrators. U-Flyte was one of the 32 European signatories of the Manifesto, formally launched by EU Transport Commissioner Ms Violeta Bulc in Antwerp on Friday 19th Oct 2018, where U-Flyte was briefly presented to the Commissioner.

We are preparing for the Marine Watch Phase 2 Demonstrator taking place this September in Waterford. Phase 1 was carried out in partnership with SFI, Airbus, Irelandia Aviation, Intel and Maynooth University.
